Climate Change Summit was held online with the participation of Prof. Dr. Güler Aras

Integrated Reporting Association Turkey (ERTA) Founding Chair Prof. Dr. Güler Aras was the guest of Ms. Didem Eryar Ünlü at the "Climate Summit" organized in cooperation with the Sustainability Academy and Nasıl Bir Ekonomi Newspaper with the theme "Together for Implementation".

Prof. Dr. Güler Aras, who took part as a speaker in the session titled "Reflections from COP27 and Green Transformation in Developing Economies" within the scope of the summit, shared her assessments on the development of green transformation strategies and national development plan, which she considers as the most important agenda item in order to adapt to COP27 outputs and policy implemented by Turkey about climate change and strengthen its competitiveness in international platforms.

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Güler Aras emphasized the importance of urgent action and concrete actions and shared her suggestions on the necessity of developing sustainable financing strategies and restructuring the financial system in line with the green transformation process that gained pace with the European Green Deal.
